About this product
A saucer is judged by the cup it takes, and the AC-2 is cut for the AC-1: a 5-5/8 inch round with a recessed well that seats that cup's 3-1/4 inch base so it will not slide when the pair is carried.
Three quarters of an inch of total height keeps it low enough to stack deeply, and the ring leaves a flat outer band wide enough for a spoon, a wrapped sugar and a biscuit. It can also stand alone as a small underliner beneath a condiment dish or a ramekin at a plated course. Rolled edges resist the chipping a saucer picks up from being stacked wet. Thirty-six in the case, white chinaware.
