Factory Crash Bars: This skid plate is designed to maintain the factory crash bars — do not remove them during installation.
Tap Recommendation: It’s good practice to use a tap on all included hardware and bracketry, or run the bolts into the nut plates a few times before installation to ensure ease of final assembly. We use zinc flake coating on all fasteners, and there may be some residual coating left in the threads.
