Oil Change Note: While this skid plate allows you to change the oil without removing it, we recommend using a quick-drain valve and funnel to help prevent spills and ensure a clean, mess-free oil change.
2022–2024 Bronco Sport Badlands Owners: You can use your factory bolts that were holding your factory steel shield and the factory threaded holes.
2025–2026 Bronco Sport Badlands: This skid plate is not compatible with the newly introduced factory lower bumper guard, making it incompatible with the 2025–2026 Bronco Sport Badlands.
Insert Nut Installation: Please refer to the photos below for instructions on how to install the rear insert nuts into the underframe.
Tap Recommendation: It’s good practice to use a tap on all included hardware and bracketry, or run the bolts into the nut plates a few times before installation to ensure ease of final assembly. We use zinc flake coating on all fasteners, and there may be some residual coating left in the threads.
