About this product
The Ahimsa Purposeful Portions Set is a pediatrician-designed stainless steel kids dinnerware set created for big kids ready to move beyond toddler dishes. Made from durable 304 (18/8) food-grade stainless steel, it replaces plastic kids dishware with a safer, non-toxic alternative designed for years of family meals.
The 5-piece set includes everything older children need for everyday mealtime: an open-style stainless steel plate, 14 oz Smart Serve Bowl, 12 oz Conscious Cup, and a child-sized fork and spoon. Thoughtful sizing, balanced weight, and easy-to-hold shapes support growing independence at the table.
Together, these pieces form a complete mealtime system, supporting balanced meals, growing appetites, and confident self-feeding as children transition from toddler dishes to big kid meals.
Each piece features a mirror-polished stainless steel interior that resists dulling and discoloration. Color versions use a titanium PVD finish, where color is bonded directly to the stainless steel for long-lasting vibrancy.
Unlike plastic, bamboo, or silicone dishes, stainless steel does not warp, retain odors, or absorb soap taste. The dishes are unbreakable, dishwasher safe, and designed for years of use.
Ahimsa dishes are MADE SAFE® certified and free from BPA, PVC, phthalates, melamine, and lead.
Best for children ages 5+ and for families seeking plastic-free kids dishware or durable stainless steel kids dishes. The Purposeful Portions Set is part of the Ahimsa Signature Collection of pediatrician-designed stainless steel kids dishware and brings together the essential pieces of Ahimsa’s complete mealtime system.
