Gentle baby shampoo and body wash for curly hair
For a newborn or baby with curly or coily hair and a brand-new scalp, the Cristina's Curls Nourishing Baby Wash and Shampoo is gentle care for the whole bath: one wash for hair, scalp and body that cleans without stripping.
Baby curls start at the scalp. In the first year a scalp can dry out and flake fast, and a harsh wash strips the little moisture fine new hair has. This 2-in-1 wash uses mild amino acid cleansers with shea butter, coconut oil, calendula and chamomile. It lathers, rinses off easily and leaves hair and skin soft. It's also the wash in Courtney's cradle cap routine, after a few drops of oil soften the flakes.
It works on waves, curls and coils, including biracial babies' hair. Two or three baths a week is plenty for most babies, with a few drops of oil on the days in between. Courtney Smith, a mom and licensed esthetician, made the line for her daughter, Cristina, and more than 70,000 families now use it. Follow with the Nourishing Baby Conditioner and the Hair and Scalp Oil for the full routine.
