MPx Intercooler, 08-09 Caliber SRT-4

Have you increased the boost on your Caliber SRT4? Driving your car hard?

If so, then the compressed air leaving the turbo on your motor is going to be much hotter than the factory intercooler was designed to cool effectively.

This is where a larger core, more efficient intercooler will be able to help produce more power OVER the factory intercooler.

On a car with simple bolt on parts, 14 psi, and 290 horsepower at the wheels, gained 12 horsepower at the wheels, and a much better throttle response. Caliber SRT4's with more power, will of course gain even more power with this intercooler.

In making this intercooler, we start with a 25 inch wide, 3.5 inch deep, and 9 inch tall bar and plate core. We then weld on cast end tanks for maximum strength (no cheesy welded together multi piece end tanks).

For transferring the air from the factory piping, we use custom made silicone hosing thats made with 4 ply silicone reinforced with mesh. This is the strongest possible silicone hosing made, capable of withstanding 80+ Psi, and 450 degrees.

Also included are new clamps.
