About this product

Oribe green goes back to Furuta Oribe, a tea master in 16th-century Japan who pushed tea wares toward bold color and playful, uneven shapes. Potters have been using his signature copper green glaze ever since, and it's still one of the most recognizable looks in Japanese ceramics.

This bowl is handmade in Japan in that classic glaze. It sits comfortably in both hands and holds 12 ounces, plenty of room for whisking.
