About this product
The deep copper green on this bowl is oribe glaze, named for Furuta Oribe, a samurai and tea master in the late 1500s who liked his tea wares bold, green and a little lopsided.
The shape is katakuchi, which means "one mouth": a bowl with a single spout built into the rim. Whisk your matcha right in it and pour it into a cup, or use it for a latte or a sauce you want to pour cleanly.
