About this product
A Complete, Foldable Pikler Triangle Set
The Avenlur Hazel is a foldable 5-in-1 Pikler triangle set for children from 1 to 6 years. It includes a climbing triangle, a reversible board that works as a slide on one side and a rock wall ramp on the other, and an arch that flips over to become a rocker. Everything folds flat for storage, and a locking mechanism holds the triangle secure during play. With more than 670 reviews, it's our most popular Pikler set.
One Set, Five Ways to Play
Pikler triangle: For pulling up, standing, stepping and climbing.
Slide: Hook the board onto the triangle for a smooth slide down.
Rock wall ramp: Flip the board for a climbing ramp with grips.
Climbing arch: Climb over it, crawl under it or use it as a bridge.
Rocker: Flip the arch over for rocking, reading and quiet time.
Ages and Stages of Play
Early on, babies and toddlers use the triangle for support while learning to pull up and stand. As they grow, they climb to the top, slide down and rock in the arch, and preschoolers combine the pieces into bridges, tunnels and obstacle courses. The same set keeps working from first steps through age 6.
Why Families Love Pikler Play
Climbing, crawling and sliding build strength, coordination and balance. Following the Pikler and Montessori approach, children set their own pace and learn to judge their own limits, which builds real confidence. And the open-ended pieces turn into forts, spaceships and anything else kids imagine.
Folds Flat, Built to Last
The Hazel folds flat to store behind a door or under a bed. It's made from solid wood with smooth, rounded edges, holds up to 220 pounds per child and is tested to ASTM and CPSIA standards. Choose Natural, Colored Bars or White. Adult supervision is recommended at all times.
Add-Ons and Other Sets
Turn the triangle into a play desk with the desk and chair attachment, add a tent cover for a hideaway, or a rocker cushion for reading time. For a smaller, lower first climber, see the Maple beginner set. For a taller triangle and more ways to build, see the Bazel 6-in-1. Learn more in our Ultimate Pikler Triangle Buying Guide.
