About this product
A 3-in-1 Wooden Climbing Arch, Rocker and Seesaw
The Bailis is one wooden Pikler-style arch that kids use three ways. Set it with the curve up and toddlers climb over it rung by rung. Flip it over and it becomes a rocker, with handles and a seat for rocking on their own. Add a second child at the other end and it turns into a seesaw for two. Inspired by Montessori and Waldorf play, it's designed for ages 18 months to 6 years.
Three Ways to Play
Climbing arch: New climbers practice reaching, gripping and stepping up and over.
Rocker: Builds balance and core strength as kids learn to rock themselves.
Seesaw: Two kids work together to keep the rhythm going.
Open-Ended Play
Beyond climbing and rocking, kids turn the Bailis into a boat, a tunnel, a bridge for toy cars, a puppet stage or a bed for their dolls. Because it doesn't tell them how to play, it keeps getting used as they grow.
Sized for Playrooms
At 47.2" long, 19.3" wide and 20.2" tall, the Bailis fits most playrooms and stores flat against a wall when not in use. Choose natural wood or colorful rungs. Learn more in our guide to seesaws and rockers or our guide to climbers and climbing walls.
Play Tips
Always supervise young children during play. Use the Bailis on a rug or play mat with clear space around it, and keep to the weight limits: 55 lbs per child and 110 lbs total.
