EXEDY Stage 2 Cerametallic 4 Puck Clutch Kit for Evo 4-9

The EXEDY Stage 2 Cerametallic clutch kit with 4 pad disc is a direct replacement for the Evo 7/8/9 and can also be used in the Evo 4/5/6 if paired with an Evo 7/8/9 flywheel. This kit is available with either a "Thin" or "Thick" disc. The thin disc offers quick shifting, but recommended for circuit racing only. The thick disc has a good heat capacity and performs well on the track. Not recommended for daily driving.<br><br><span style="color: #ff0000;">Vehicle Fitment:</span><br>• 2001-2006 CT9A Evolution 7/8/9<br>• 1996-2001 CP9A CN9A Evo 4/5/6 (* Must use Evo 7/8/9 Flywheel *)<br>* These clutch discs are very grabby! *<br>* Not recommended for daily driving *<br><br><span style="color: #ff0000;">What's the difference between the Thin and Thick Discs?</span><br><strong><em>The Thick Disc</em></strong> has a great heat capacity and therefore better durability in demanding applications and typically have less inertia than a stock disc. Works well for rally and track use and can be street driven, but will be very grabby.<br><em><strong>The Thin Disc</strong></em> offers greatly reduced inertia for quicker shifting, and improved synchro durability. These discs are approximately half the thickness of a stock disc and are recommended for circuit track use only.<br><br><span style="color: #ff0000;">Cushion Button Disc:</span><br>The remarkable Cushion Button Disc combines cerametallic button facing with marcel cushion springs to maintain comfortable driving while supporting a respectable amount of power. Its smooth engagement is ideal for the street, and thanks to its heavy duty sprung hub dampening assembly, can handle the power of high torque motors.<br><br><span style="color: #ff0000;">Clutch Cover:</span><br>These clutch covers are designed to achieve a clamping load that is approx. 40% higher than the OEM part allowing a higher torque transmitting capacity.
