About this product
The Burton Step On Escapade Re:Flex is one of those bindings that just feels right from the very first run.
It doesn't take a full day to figure out. The response feels natural, the support is there when you need it, and nothing about the binding distracts from the experience. It simply lets you focus on riding.
That's what has always made the Escapade platform so popular.
It offers enough support to confidently carve, explore steeper terrain, and ride with purpose, but never crosses the line into feeling stiff or demanding. Instead, it delivers a smooth, comfortable ride that still has plenty of performance when you decide to pick up the pace.
The Kickback Hammock highjack wraps the boot with extra suspension to help absorb any choppy terrain and keep you focused on your riding, rather than foot or board chatter.
The Re:Flex baseplate complements that personality by allowing the board to flex naturally beneath your feet while maintaining excellent board feel. Whether you're linking turns on fresh corduroy or navigating chopped-up afternoon snow, the Escapade maintains a connected feel without becoming overly rigid.
Like every Step On binding, the convenience quickly becomes second nature. The entry and exit are smooth and efficient and make your day on snow that much easier.
If you're comparing the Escapade to the Step On Lexa X, it really comes down to preference. The Lexa X offers a little more response and precision, while the Escapade leans toward all-day comfort without giving up the performance most riders are looking for.
For riders searching for one binding to comfortably handle just about every day on the mountain, the Escapade is the go-to option for a perfect blend of performance and comfort.
*Compatible with standard hole pattern snowboards, as well as boards with The Channel.
