About this product
Blossom Calico from Burleigh. First introduced to the Burleigh pattern book in 1968, Calico has been a beloved design ever since. Inspired by 19th-century indigo textiles, each piece is handcrafted in the heart of The Potteries, showcasing luscious lilac tones and a timeless scrolling blossom motif. Whether for everyday meals or special occasions, this classic pattern in dessert/salad size brings effortless charm to any table.
Let's help preserve England's iconic Stoke-on-Kent potteries! Each plate is meticulously hand-decorated by skilled artisans using Burleigh’s centuries-old tissue transfer printing technique, a method that transfers intricate designs from hand-engraved copper rollers. This dedication to craftsmanship ensures every piece is as unique as the hands that create it, making it a cherished addition to your collection.
