About this product
Its unique shape and distinctive color make it ideal for serving appetizers such as sushi rolls, sashimi, or main dishes, adding a touch of elegance to your presentation. It is also suitable for desserts, where the contrast between the plate's green hue and the colors of your sweets creates a visually appealing display.
The signature Oribe glaze is applied in the middle to achieve the desired depth of color and texture. The plate is then fired using the Ibushi technique which adds charcoal to a kiln and goes into reduction firing, where the golden glaze applied to the outer edge transforms into a charcoal-like surface with unique variations and patterns. The final result is a stunning piece of pottery that is both beautiful and functional.
