About this product
For those of you using your truck for competition purposes, or even heavy duty work loads, you know the concern surrounding your drivetrain's weakest link. In the case of 1994-2007 Dodge 5.9L Cummins trucks, the flexplate is your Achilles Heel. When exposed to high torque loads, aggressive torque converters and extreme duty, the stamped steel factory flexplate put bluntly just can't handle the job and when it fails, it's usually catastrophic. BD Diesel can help you reign-in your drivetrain with The BD Black Max Flexplate. An advanced design paired with forged billet construction allows the Black Max to reliably handle over 2000lb-ft. of torque or up to 3,500lb-ft. with the addition of friction shims.
Featuring twice the material of the stock flex plate, these units are precision-balanced, and are backed by the best warranty in the business. Check out these features! Now meets 29.3 SFI approval for competition use! A much more stringent test for safety specific to high horsepower diesels. The old 29.1 standard that most companies flex-plates meet is designed to address safety concerns for the much lower torque gas engines. This again points to the BD Flexplate as the best in the industry.
