About this product
Angelus Duller is a matte additive you mix into Angelus Paint to cut the shine, so you get a flat or matte finish in any color. It also works mixed into Angelus Acrylic Finisher for a lower-sheen topcoat.
Choose 1 oz., 4 oz., pint, or quart. We've made Angelus products in Los Angeles since 1907.
How to use it
- Add Duller to your paint, starting small. We recommend no more than 5 to 8% of the mix.
- Stir it in fully before you paint.
- Test the sheen on the Angelus Leather Test Swatch or a hidden spot, and add a little more if you want it flatter.

Common questions
How much Duller should I add to paint?
Start small and keep it to no more than 5 to 8% of your paint mix.
Can I add Duller to Acrylic Finisher?
Yes. Mixing it into Angelus Acrylic Finisher lowers the sheen of your topcoat.
Is there a paint that's already matte?
Yes. Flat Black and Flat White dry with almost no shine, and 4-Coat comes in Flat and Matte for sealing.
