The Air Force 1 has seen plenty of strange treatments over the years, and we're always happy when Nike gets a little weird with an Uptown. For 2026, the Air Force 1 '01 “Nightmare” takes the revived early-2000s silhouette somewhere darker, giving one of Nike's most familiar sneakers a more unsettling personality.
The “Nightmare” treatment brings a darker aesthetic to the classic leather AF1 construction, while the familiar Swoosh, perforated toe and substantial sole keep the silhouette recognizable. Underneath, Nike Air cushioning and the pivot-circle rubber outsole maintain the original basketball DNA. A little less everyday white-on-white, considerably more interesting.
