About this product
Overview
The TS-C-1 is the inner auger teeth position on Digga A4 earth auger bits — the teeth working closest to the pilot, in the inner pockets of the cutting head. They see less travel per revolution than the outer teeth but do the harder job of breaking ground the pilot has already disturbed, which is why Digga fits chisel-profile rippers there rather than the flat blade used outboard. This is the Light Conditions steel version; the TS-C-3 is the tungsten equivalent in the same pocket.
Key Features of the Digga TS-C-1
- Part number TS-C-1 — on a wear part the number is the fitment, and there is no size to choose
- Part number: TS-C-1
- Position: Inner pocket
- Tooth material: Bladed steel — Light Conditions
- Fits: Digga A4 earth auger bits
- Inner and outer teeth are not the same part — ordering TS-1 when you need TS-C-1 leaves the inner pockets empty.
- Chisel profile for breakout rather than the flat blade used on the outer positions.
- Direct replacement with no modification to the head.
- TS-C-3 is the tungsten upgrade in the same pocket for harder ground.
- Made in Dyersville, Iowa, so it seats in the pocket without filing.
Why Replace Inner Teeth Rather Than the Whole A4 Bit
- The head outlasts many sets of teeth — the tube, flights and hub are what you are protecting by changing teeth on time.
- Running worn teeth pushes load into the head, and the head is not something you can replace.
- Slow penetration costs machine hours long before a tooth actually fails.
Digga TS-C-1 Specifications
The TS-C-1 and the part numbers beside it are taken from Digga’s published price list. Teeth and pilots are consumable by design — replacing them on time is what keeps the auger tube, flights and hub in service.

What Does the TS-C-1 Fit?
Note your auger bit model at checkout and we confirm the TS-C-1 is the right profile for it before the order ships.
What to Order Alongside the TS-C-1
- The other A4 positions — a head running a fresh TS-C-1 against worn teeth elsewhere wears unevenly and cuts on two planes.
- TruLoc retaining pins (WP-000271) where the tooth is pin-retained — pins are what gets lost during a field change.
- A spare set for the truck — teeth are low-cost consumables, and a set on board turns a failed hole into a ten-minute job.
Digga TS-C-1 Questions, Answered
What is the difference between TS-1 and TS-C-1?
Position. TS-1 is the outer tooth, cutting the full hole diameter. TS-C-1 is the inner tooth, working closer to the pilot. A complete A4 earth set uses both plus the PM-SQ-1 pilot.
Should I fit the tungsten TS-C-3 instead?
If the ground is compacted or abrasive, yes — the tungsten is brazed onto the tooth face and holds an edge far longer. It fits the same pocket, so it is a straight swap. For ordinary earth and clay the TS-C-1 is the right tooth.
When should I replace it?
When the cutting edge has rounded off, when penetration slows for the same down-pressure, or when the drive is working noticeably harder for the same hole. Past that point wear transfers into the auger head itself, and the head is not a replaceable part.
Can I mix tooth types on one head?
Not advisable. Mixed teeth wear at different rates and sit at slightly different heights, which loads some pockets harder than others and leaves a rougher hole. Run a matched set and replace them together.
Is a retaining pin included?
No. The TruLoc single pin, part number WP-000271, is a separate item. Keep spares — the pin is usually what goes missing during a change in the field.
How is shipping calculated?
Shipping is calculated at checkout — add the item to your cart, enter your delivery address, and the shipping charge is shown before you complete your order. Lift gate service is available for residential deliveries and can be selected at checkout.
How do I order?
Add the item to your cart and check out online — the order page asks for your machine make and model, so there is no need to call ahead. We check the mount against your machine after the order and come back to you if anything needs changing. If you would rather ask first, email support@eskidsteer.com or use the chat button on your screen.
The TS-C-1 is searched for as skid steer auger bit, as an earth auger bit, and by crews looking specifically for auger bit teeth to refresh a worn head. It sits alongside auger replacement parts and auger pilot in the same wear-part order. The TS-C-1, like the rest of the range, is genuine digga auger tooling made in Dyersville, Iowa.
Inner teeth tend to be under-ordered because they wear more slowly than the outer positions, which leads crews to replace outers twice before touching the inners. That works until the height difference between a fresh outer and a worn inner starts loading the outer pockets harder than they should be. Changing the full set at once is the cheaper habit.
