About this product
These 8mm flat round abalone or paua shell beads come strung and ready to work with, bringing genuine iridescent shell material into your designs at a size that's versatile without being overwhelming.
Abalone and paua shell carry their own natural iridescence — shifting greens, blues, and purples that no dye or coating can fully replicate.

What to make with them
The flat round shape sits beautifully in single-strand necklaces and bracelets where each bead can show its full face, and the 8mm diameter works well as a focal repeat in bead embroidery or as a layering element in multi-strand jewelry.
Natural materials vary in color, pattern, and size. The beads you receive may differ slightly from the product photos — this is a characteristic of natural materials, not a defect.
