Yanco RO-404 Rockeye Chinaware 4-3/8" Rice Bowl 9 oz, White and Brown — Case of 36 (3 dz)

Four and three-eighths inches across, nine ounces. A rice bowl is drawn to be picked up, and the geometry shows it: a narrow foot that fingers can curl under, a steep wall, and a diameter that fits a closed hand. Nine ounces is one cooked portion of steamed rice.

Alongside the miso bowl in this series it is slightly wider at the mouth and takes an ounce more, which is the difference between a grain vessel and a broth vessel in a Japanese cover. The relief outside gives grip when the china is hot. Chinaware, dishwasher safe and microwave safe.
