Black, twelve inches long, seven and a half across. This is the rectangle a bar or a small-plates kitchen sends out loaded: skewers laid parallel, a trio of dips with crudites between them, a row of tacos. The dark surface hides the oil marks that show on white between courses.

Its 1-1/8 inch wall is low enough to serve from with tongs. Rome's dark rectangles step through ten, twelve, fourteen, sixteen and eighteen inches, so a venue can match platter length to party size without changing pattern. Melamine construction, dishwasher safe. Twenty-four in a case.
