The Jung bowl is 4-1/4 inches across and two inches deep, holding 9.5 ounces — a small bowl with unusual depth for its width. That profile is built for rice, congee, a dipping sauce in volume, or a side of pickles, where a shallow bowl of the same diameter would hold a third as much.
