A bouillon cup four inches across and 2-1/2 inches deep, holding 7.25 ounces. Two handles, a near-vertical wall and a wide mouth: the shape exists so a diner can lift a hot broth with both hands and drink from it, which a soup plate does not allow. Consomme, beef tea and clear vegetable broths are its working range.
