Yanco NB-214 Noble Black Chinaware 14-1/2" x 9-1/2" x 1-3/8" Oval Platter, Black — Case of 12 (1 dz)

The largest oval in Noble Black runs fourteen and a half inches by nine and a half, with a well about one and three-eighths inches deep. At that size it stops being a cover plate and becomes a serving piece: a family-style roast, a whole side of salmon, a shared mezze spread for three or four. The length is worth measuring against your shelving before ordering a case.

Cases contain twelve. Black porcelain in this format photographs cleanly, because the platter itself falls away at the edges and leaves whatever is on it to carry the picture alone.
