About this product
Nine inches is the lunch plate: a full main course without the surplus rim of a 10-1/2", and the diameter to pick where portions are controlled. The MS-009BU runs a wide rim over a 3/4" section, so a plated entrée is framed rather than filling the disc edge to edge.
This is where the case quantity drops from four dozen to two — dinner plates are heavier and ship in smaller cartons. The blue finish has a narrow-rim counterpart at the same 9" diameter in the MS-109, so a site can choose rim profile without changing size or colour. Extra heavy weight melamine, break-resistant, dishwasher safe.
