An inch wider than the MR-106 and half again as tall, the MR-107 sits in the gap between bread plate and salad plate at 7-1/4 inches. Yanco catalogues it as an appetizer plate, which is the honest reading: it holds a composed starter, a cheese course or a pair of sliders without crowding them.
The rim is broad enough for a server to grip without touching food, and the three-quarter inch wall keeps a loose dressing from running over the edge. Its coupe counterpart, the MR-707, matches the diameter with one soft continuous curve instead of a defined border.
