The MM-2 is the saucer cut for Miami's 3-1/2" cups. Both the MM-1 and the stacking MM-1-S drop into its well and stay put when a tray moves.

At 5-1/2" across and 3/8" tall it leaves a ring of clear china around the cup foot, which is where a spoon, a wrapped sugar or a biscotti goes. That ring is also what a server grips, so the piece does more work than it looks like it does. It ships thirty-six to the carton, matching the cups one for one so a replacement order does not leave an operation holding odd pieces.
