Yanco files this one as a pasta bowl, and the proportions explain why: a wide square mouth with two inches of wall and no more, so a long noodle can be turned without climbing the side. At 18 ounces it holds half again what the 12-ounce ML-2406 does, and the extra three-quarters of an inch across gives a sauce somewhere to pool away from the centre of the bowl.
