A 12-inch square platter in bright white chinaware with true square corners.

Twelve inches across makes this a server rather than a cover: about 144 square inches of face, which takes a shared mezze spread, a tart cut into portions, or a run of canapes down each side. It sits between the 10-inch ML-110, which the pattern still calls a plate, and the 14-inch ML-114 above it, so a room can grade its sharing sizes in two-inch steps and keep one square silhouette across the whole table.
