At sixteen by nine and a half inches, the ME-216 is the full-size rectangular platter in the Mexico collection, built for buffet lines and family-style tables. The added width over the 14-inch ME-214 matters as much as the length: there is room for two parallel rows of food, or for a main with its sides arranged beside it rather than behind.

Caterers favour long rectangles because they run end to end down a table and hold their line. Melamine carries this platter's span without the heft of a china piece the same size. Red with black speckles throughout the body.
