Eight inches by five and a half, three quarters of an inch deep: the LY-2108 is the small oval appetizer plate in Lyon. The long axis suits food that is naturally linear — three seared scallops in a row, a pair of crostini, a folded slice of smoked fish.
It is light enough to pass by hand at a reception and shallow enough to stack deep behind a bar. A full case makes it practical to put an appetizer plate at every cover for an amuse rather than rationing them across the room.
