About this product
Seven and a quarter inches with a raised edge reads as a starter course on a printed menu: a Greek salad with feta and olives, a caprese with the tomato juices still running, a wedge of iceberg under blue cheese dressing. The LY-107TQ salad plate holds a dressed portion where a flat piece would send the dressing to the tablecloth.
Mediterranean kitchens and mezze counters use the angled outline for small composed plates — hummus with a swirl, marinated artichokes, a few slices of halloumi — and that outline gives a salad plate an identity of its own on a table already carrying round china.
