About this product
The JP-3545 is a sauce bowl rather than a sauce dish: five inches across and holding ten ounces, enough to put a shared dipping sauce in the middle of a table instead of a spoonful at each place. Ponzu, tentsuyu for tempura, a chilli oil for gyoza, anything several people will reach into across a course.

Ten ounces also makes it usable for a wet side such as sunomono or a dressed salad for two. Four dozen to a box. The Japanese decoration is an abstract brushed figure on a sand ground, printed rather than applied over the glaze, so it survives being stacked wet and run through a machine on every shift.
