About this product
A rice bowl, 4-1/2 inches across and 2-1/2 inches deep, holding 10 ounces. The tall-for-its-width proportion is traditional and practical: it is sized to be picked up in one hand, with the foot narrow enough that fingers close around it comfortably.
Ten ounces is a single rice portion, or a cup of congee, or a small dessert. In a stack it takes very little shelf depth for the volume it holds, which is why thirty-six fit a case. The speckled glaze runs over the foot ring on this shape rather than stopping short of it. Chinaware, dishwasher safe and microwave safe, so rice can be covered and reheated in the same bowl.
