An elongated, boat-shaped salad bowl 8 inches along its long axis, holding 6 ounces. The narrow canoe form is the reason the capacity is modest for the width: the well is shallow and tapers at both ends, which suits a side salad, a seaweed portion, or a few pieces of pickled vegetable laid in a line rather than heaped.
That shape also makes it a natural fit beside a rectangular sushi plate, where a round bowl would break the geometry of the setting. Two dozen to the case. Like the rest of the Fuji line it is a magnesia-bodied chinaware finished bone white, rated for the dishwasher and the microwave, so it can go from cold station to pass without a second vessel.
