A nine-inch square salad bowl at thirty-two ounces, a quarter inch deeper than the DM-508. A full quart of capacity turns it from a single cover into a sharing bowl for two, or into a main-course salad standing on its own.
The step up in depth buys most of that extra volume; the footprint only grows by an inch. Porcelain holds a chilled salad cold right through a service in a way a thin melamine bowl does not. Packed one dozen to a case, which is where Denmark's square bowls change from two dozen down to one.
