At 9-1/4 inches square the DM-209 is the Denmark dinner plate for a kitchen that sets a square table. Its face runs to roughly eighty-six square inches, more than the ten-inch round delivers, in a footprint that packs tighter on a shelf.
The rim stands three-quarters of an inch and runs unbroken around the perimeter, holding a sauce where the chef put it. Below that the speckled purple well does the decorative work, so the plate reads as patterned without a printed border to argue with the food. Cases hold twenty-four.
