About this product
A twelve-inch round reads as a presentation piece rather than a standard cover, and it is the point in the Coupe Pattern line where the dinner plate starts doing double duty: a large entree surface for a steak-and-sides service, or a base under a smaller bowl for a soup-and-salad pairing.
The wall steps up to 1-1/4 inches here, an eighth deeper than both the 10-inch and the 11-inch rounds, which gives a little more containment for anything saucy at this width. Twenty-four to a case. Kitchens running a fixed tasting menu often buy this size in quantity and keep the smaller rounds for the intermediate courses.
