A nappie is the side-dish bowl of American foodservice, and this is the portion size for coleslaw with a sandwich, apple sauce with pork, a cup of fruit at breakfast or a scoop of ice cream at the end.
Two inches of depth in a five inch round gives steeper walls than the Champs sauce dish has, which is what keeps a loose side from sliding out when the bowl is set down beside a plate. It sits securely in a standard dish rack, and the matte green surface keeps a pale side dish such as apple sauce looking distinct rather than washed out. Three dozen to a case.
