About this product
Twelve and a half inches square but nearly six inches tall, this bowl takes the opposite approach to the shallow rounds: it goes down rather than out.
Five and a half quarts in a footprint barely larger than a dinner plate is useful when table space is the constraint and volume is not negotiable. Think deep dressed potato salad, cut fruit, or crushed ice holding chilled bottles. The square plan sits flush against a wall or against a neighbouring bowl. It has the smallest footprint in the square-bowl run while matching the capacity of a wider, shallower bowl in the same collection.
