Eleven and an eighth inches wide with a three and a quarter inch wall, this has the deepest well of any bowl in Blue Star and it holds twenty ounces. A broad mouth combined with genuine depth is the Mediterranean bowl form: wide enough to present a whole piece of fish or a mound of mussels, deep enough to keep the broth they arrived in. It is a single-serve main despite the diameter, not a serving bowl for the table. Twelve per carton, and they nest reasonably well for their depth. Set against the shallower bowl of the same series, this one is for anything with liquid in it.
