A 3-1/2 inch round sauce dish holding 5 ounces, BA-403 is the soy, ponzu and dipping-sauce piece of the pattern. Five ounces is half what the BA-404 rice bowl takes, which is about the right ratio when one dish handles a single diner's condiments for a whole meal.
