About this product
Founded by Josiah Spode in 1770, Spode has been producing the finest ceramics and celebrated designs in Stoke-on Trent, England for 250 years. Spode is the authority on great British style bringing heritage style to modern day life. The Woodland 5-Piece Place Setting designs are rooted in the traditions of hunting for game and its elaborate presentation on the table. Central to the charm of the pattern are the striking studies of different animals framed by the British Flowers border which dates back to 1831. It features assorted motifs on each piece: dinner plate with Pheasant, salad plate with Red Grouse, bread & butter with Snipe and teacup and saucer with Quail. Casually formal for every day living, this set is dishwasher and microwave safe.
