The Women's Speedgoat 5 GTX Spike is the winter specialist of the Speedgoat family — the Speedgoat 5 platform with Gore-Tex protection and 12 permanently embedded tungsten-carbide studs for ice. Where the Speedgoat 6 and 7 cover three-season trail running, the Spike is built for the months when single-track turns to hardpack and glare ice. CMEVA midsole, Vibram Megagrip with 5 mm Traction Lugs, and studs that stay put all winter.

Materials & Care
Air-dry away from direct heat after wet or snowy runs - never tumble dry. Spot-clean uppers with a soft brush and mild soap; do not machine-wash. Rinse road salt off after winter runs and remove the sockliner to dry. Do not bleach or dry-clean. Store at room temperature away from prolonged UV exposure, which hardens foam. Avoid wearing the studded outsole on indoor floors.
