Few sneakers have a Hollywood résumé quite like the Air Jordan 11. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the patent leather basketball shoe became a cultural landmark thanks in part to Michael Jordan's appearance in Space Jam in 1996. The "Magic Ball" edition revisits that connection from a different angle. We're always interested when Jordan Brand digs into the stories surrounding its most famous silhouettes rather than simply giving us another retro.
The Women's Air Jordan 11 Retro "Space Jam - Magic Ball" brings a new interpretation to the AJ11's unmistakable design, with its high-cut patent leather-inspired mudguard, sculpted midsole and basketball heritage. It's a nod to one of the more unusual chapters in Jordan history, when the world's biggest basketball star shared the screen with Bugs Bunny. Still a pretty difficult collaboration to top.
