About this product
The Wolf Tooth EnCase System Bar Kit One provides in-bike storage combined with essential riding tools designed to handle most trailside repairs. The kit includes a 14-function Hex Bit Wrench Multi-Tool, a Chain + Tire Plug Multi-Tool, and two storage sleeves.
The Hex Bit Wrench Multi-Tool features 14 functions: spoke wrench for 0.127" (3.23mm) nipples, valve core wrench, flat head #3.5, Phillips #2, hex keys in sizes 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm, 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, and 8mm, plus T10, T25, and T30 Torx drivers. Magnets and O-rings secure all parts, while a ball detent swivel head aids access to hard-to-reach areas. The handle can be used as a breaker bar when extra torque is needed. A magnet at the tool's bottom allows for convenient storage on steel surfaces. Note that pedals and seized axles may exceed the maximum torque limits of 20 Nm for the 5mm and 6mm hex bits.
The Chain + Tire Plug Multi-Tool works with all bicycle chains, including 12-speed models. It includes an inserter tool and five butyl bacon strips to plug tubeless tire holes, with refills available separately. The hardened steel pin ensures long-lasting durability. This compact chain tool is intended for chain pin removal only; carrying a spare master link is recommended. It requires a 4mm hex driver, which is included on the EnCase Hex Bit Wrench.
The kit's storage sleeves are made from vibration-damping material to prevent rattling and feature durable, precision-machined aluminum end caps. The custom-fit rubber flap can be trimmed to fit handlebars with smaller inner diameters. Additional space inside the sleeves fits small items like a presta-to-schrader adapter, valve core, or master link (sold separately).
This system fits most mountain and road handlebars, excluding ergonomic-style road bars with extra bends. It is compatible with carbon and aluminum bars but does not fit certain models such as Syntace Vector, Deity Skywire, Chromag Cutlass, and others specified by the manufacturer. Minimum internal bar diameter is 17.5mm. For installation, the sleeves should slide in smoothly with minimal force; trimming or tool orientation adjustments may be necessary.
