White & Cypress Green Stripe Tailored Crib Rail Cover, Farmhouse Skirt & 2 Bows Set

A painted green stripe on slubby white cotton — the calmest way to put real color over a crib, cut and sewn by hand in our Alabama studio.

The stripe is irregular on purpose. Narrow cypress green bands are drawn with a brushy, slightly wavering edge and spaced wide across a textured white ground, so the fabric reads hand-drawn instead of printed. It runs the length of the tailored rail cover, finished along the bottom edge in fine white cording with slim white ties that disappear against the spindles. Below it, a gathered white farmhouse crib skirt and two oversized white sashes stay quiet on purpose — the stripe is the only piece doing any talking. Green and white is also the rare color story that outlives the nursery; it still reads right when the crib comes out and a big-kid bed goes in.
