About this product
A transitional 1-light wall sconce from Westinghouse's Sylvestre collection, featuring an oil rubbed bronze finish and frosted glass shade, perfect for bathrooms and hallways.
The Sylvestre wall sconce offers a sleek, versatile design that complements both contemporary and traditional decor. The oil rubbed bronze finish and cylindrical frosted glass shade create a warm, inviting glow. The fixture can be positioned up or down to suit your lighting needs.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 in vanity, mounted 60-66 in above the floor
- Hallways and corridors, spaced 4-6 ft apart for even illumination
- Bedrooms as a reading light beside the bed
- Dining rooms as accent lighting on feature walls
- Entryways and foyers for a warm welcome
Not ideal for
- Wet locations - this fixture is damp-rated but not wet-rated
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting without additional sources
- Very large walls where a larger sconce would be more proportionate
How bright is it?
Uses one 60-watt medium-base bulb (not included). With an LED equivalent, expect about 800 lumens, suitable for accent or ambient lighting. The frosted glass diffuses light softly.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb. For a warm, relaxing ambiance, choose a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The frosted glass shade softens the light, reducing glare.
Sizing and fit
Dimensions: 8.25 in high x 4.75 in wide, extends 6.25 in from wall. Back plate is 4.75 in diameter. Compact size fits well in smaller spaces.
