About this product
A 14-inch tall outdoor wall sconce with a textured black finish and clear seeded glass cylinder, designed for covered porches and entryways.
The Westinghouse Kellen outdoor sconce combines farmhouse and retro-industrial charm with a textured black finish and hand-blown clear seeded glass cylinder. The cage enclosure adds a rugged touch, while the seeded glass diffuses light for a warm, inviting glow. Ideal for front or back entryways, garage doors, or any covered outdoor space.
Best for
- Covered front or back entryways, mounted beside the door for welcoming light
- Garage doors, providing accent lighting for a classic farmhouse look
- Covered patios or porches, adding ambient light without direct rain exposure
- Outdoor hallways or breezeways, as a single or pair for symmetrical style
Not ideal for
- Uncovered outdoor areas exposed to direct rain or sprinklers (rated for wet locations, but the seeded glass may show water spots)
- Small spaces under 4 ft wide, as the sconce extends 8.5 inches from the wall
How bright is it?
Uses one 60W medium-base bulb (not included). Brightness depends on the bulb chosen; a 60W incandescent equivalent produces about 800 lumens, suitable for accent or ambient lighting. For a brighter effect, pair with a clear filament LED bulb to showcase the design.
Light color and feel
The clear seeded glass creates a soft, diffused glow with visible filament texture. Color temperature depends on the bulb; a 2700K warm white bulb produces a cozy, traditional feel. Not dimmable.
