DESCRIPTION

The Werk-Brau BrushHound Backhoe Flail Shredder is a heavy-duty vegetation management attachment designed to transform compatible backhoes into powerful long-reach mowing and brush-clearing machines. Available in 30EX, 30EX-HD, 40EX, 40EX-HD, and 50EX-HD configurations, the BrushHound series handles grass, brush, shrubs, vines, and small to medium-sized woody material with dependable cutting performance. Depending on the model, cutting widths range from 30" to 50", while hydraulic flow requirements range from 12 to 54 GPM. Features such as a high-performance cutter drum, direct-drive system, reversible flail knives, wire guards, bolt-on chain guards, and excavator-specific mounting provide efficient operation and long-term durability. The serrated thumb saddle also helps operators grab and remove debris for cleaner, more controlled backhoe clearing applications.
